January 2019

Author Signing with Local Author Randy Junker

January 4 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

With the tragic and heroic actions that took the life of his son, Pastor Randy was given by God a gift to express his grief, his theology, and his walk with God. Randy Junker, a pastor with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, has served for over thirty-five years in three churches. He now pastors the Grand Rapids Alliance Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, where he lives with his wife, Debbie. They have raised four children, each one married, and have gifted the Junkers with seventeen grandchildren. Randy graduated from Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota, with a BA in history and earned his MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. With his love of words, especially the words in the Word of God, he has blessed his congregation by his poetry. They have also endured his puns, which are always intended, for over twenty-five years. In June of 2009, his oldest son, Nathan, drowned while saving the life of a youth in his youth group when a mighty wind blew the student off a sandbar. This book of poetry is dedicated to his memory.

+ Google Map

"I currently live in Northern Minnesota with my husband, our four children, two dogs, two rats, a handful of goldfish, and a very spoiled cat. I spend most of my day puttering away on the keyboard with a breathtaking view of a lake in my backyard as a source of tranquil inspiration. My husband and I were high school sweethearts, and will be celebrating our 25th year of marriage this August. I enjoy fishing, reading, shopping, writing, and spending time with family. My writing career debuted with my first m/m romance, "Returning for Ryder," in September 2016 with a publisher. Originally intended as a standalone novel, it seems that my fans have other ideas and I will be penning a second, and a third in what is now to become "The Returning Series." I'm no longer signed with this publisher and I have now independently published this book and the rest of the series when I have them ready. I have also indie published my "In Pieces," Book One, in the "Pieces Trilogy," a heterosexual contemporary romance. I've also released Book Two, "Shattered Pieces," and Book Three "Broken Pieces." Naughty Night Press LLC recently signed me in 2016 for my MF Shifter Paranormal Romance, "Remote in the Shadows," just released this April 4th. Not only do I thrive on my love of writing, weaving worlds full of passion and romance for my readers to crawl into, but also the excitement of my readers when they know I'm getting close to another release date. I plan to release many more books in the coming years for their enjoyment. Be warned, no matter the genre of my work, my books will all contain explicit language and smexy romance scenes! 18+ audiences only!!"
